<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;"><em>What if I'd never had the chance to finish up my studies after dropping out of high school? What if the problems of my past followed me into adulthood? What if I had listened to the people who doubted me because of the color of my skin?</em><br>
</p>
<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;">As a son of working-class Chinese immigrants who got his start in politics after replying to a classified ad -- <em>on a dare no less!</em> -- becoming the Democratic Party's highest-ranking Asian American staffer was never anything more than a pipe dream.<br>
</p>
<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;"><strong>But that's the kind of promise our party is founded on: Creating a country where stories like mine are not just possible, but within reach for millions of people. </strong>That's the future President Biden and Vice President Harris, Democrats in Congress, and all of us here at the DNC are working for every day -- and it's your support that makes this vision a reality. <br>

They waited tables, sold souvenirs, sewed clothes, and did everything they could to give my brothers and me a better life. Like so many folks, they struggled to get by -- and that's why President Biden and Vice President Harris's bold agenda to create jobs and support working families is so important to me.<br>

<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;">This year, Democrats passed the <em>American Rescue Plan</em> and delivered relief to families across our country.
