<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;">On Wednesday, an extreme law that bans abortion as early as six weeks went into effect in Texas, effectively ending the protections of <em>Roe v. Wade</em> in the state and setting the stage for thousands of people to be denied access to the health care they need.

<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;">This is the GOP's latest attempt to enact their far-right agenda -- and we can't let them get away with it. We're fighting tooth and nail to protect abortion access, ensure <em>Roe v. Wade</em> remains the law of the land, and elect Democrats nationwide who will do the same. But we can't do it alone.
