<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom: 8px;">Having spent the last year serving the American people alongside President Biden and Vice President Harris, I can confidently say that there is nothing more important to them than for every American to thrive.

<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom: 8px;">But with the midterms fast approaching, Democrats are dangerously close to being stopped in our tracks. If Republicans flip just one seat in the Senate or four seats in the House this November, our progress could be stalled.

<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom: 8px;">Republicans like Rick Scott have been pushing a plan that could sunset Medicare and Social Security in five years, and Trump's tax giveaways to the ultra-wealthy could become permanent if Republicans get their way.
</p>
<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom: 8px;">Thankfully, there's still some time to decide which party gets to set the agenda. If we keep Congress and also elect Democrats to state legislatures nationwide, we can continue building a country that works <em>for everyone</em> -- not just those at the top.
