<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;">Friend -- In my home state and too many others across the country, Republicans are doing all that they can to suppress the vote. The GOP-controlled state legislature even went so far as to pass a bill that bans handing out water to folks waiting in line to cast their ballot.

<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;">We're seeing lawmakers introduce legislation like this all over the country -- bills that impose new ID requirements, shorten early-voting periods, limit the number of drop boxes, and more. <strong>That's why the DNC's I Will Vote initiative is so important.</strong>
</p>
<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;">Vice President Harris announced the DNC's plan to invest millions of dollars to make voting more accessible and fight back against the GOP's attacks on the right to vote. We're going to expand our stake in voter education, registration, and protection -- not to mention support an expert voter protection team and tech staff that will be crucial in identifying and contacting voters impacted by these bills. I know that this plan will work, <em>but it won't work without you.</em>
