Republicans know that when every eligible voter is able to cast their ballot, Democrats win. So, the GOP's primary campaign tactic for the next four years is simple: Voter suppression.

Republicans are already introducing -- and passing -- anti-voter legislation nationwide. At this point, we've seen Republicans introduce more than 253 heinous bills in 43 states aimed at suppressing the vote. Just take a look at their latest:

Following President Biden and Senators Ossoff and Warnock's victories in Georgia, Senate Republicans passed a sweeping elections bill that would limit weekend early voting days, restrict ballot drop boxes, and implement additional ID requirements for absentee voting.

In Iowa -- where more than 70% of Democrats voted early -- the governor just signed a bill into law that would not only shorten the early voting period, but increase restrictions on mail-in ballots and close voting sites an hour earlier on Election Day.

Last week, a Florida state Senate panel voted along party lines to advance a bill that would ban drop-boxes used for mail-in ballots -- despite bipartisan support for using drop boxes from local election officials.

And, mere months after Senator Mark Kelly flipped a key Senate seat in the state, a state House committee in Arizona approved a bill that would drop folks from the permanent early voting list if they skip consecutive election cycles. Right now, that list contains 3.2 million people -- and it proved essential in helping expand access to the ballot box in 2020.

This is just a snapshot of the Republican Party's nationwide anti-voter legislative campaign -- and it's why I am asking for your help today. The DNC is working around the clock to protect the right to vote -- through litigation, voter support, and year-round protection programs. If you can, please consider rushing a $7 donation to the DNC today so that our party has the resources it needs to fight the GOP and elect Democrats nationwide.

Let's be perfectly clear: This anti-voter legislative campaign is a threat to our democracy. Instead of championing policies that will help the American people, Republicans are trying to better their chances at the ballot box by disenfranchising voters. Here's how the DNC is fighting back:

Voter protection litigation: The DNC was at the Supreme Court earlier this month challenging discriminatory laws, just as we were at the forefront of challenging Trump and Republicans' election lawsuits last cycle. We'll continue to hold the GOP accountable in the years to come.

Direct voter support: IWillVote.com is a one-stop shop for folks to register to vote, learn about the voting requirements in their state, and find their polling place or ballot drop-box. The DNC also runs a voter assistance hotline to answer questions people may have about casting their ballot.

Year-round voter protection programs: The DNC employed a top-notch voter protection team last cycle -- including dedicated voter protection experts embedded in key states and first-class litigators. But protecting the right to vote isn't just an election year issue, which is why we're continuing to track threats to voting rights nationwide and educate the public.

Our voter protection programs are vital to defending our democracy -- but they also require a tremendous amount of support to be effective. That's where you come in. None of this would be possible without the generosity of Democrats like you -- and right now, with the GOP waging an all-out assault on voters' access to the ballot box, is not a time for us to scale back.

If you're able, make a $7 donation to the DNC today so that we can continue to defend our democracy and elect Democrats nationwide in the years to come.

Thank you,

P.S. The DNC has been at the forefront of protecting the right to vote -- but now, Republicans are unleashing a tidal wave of anti-voter legislation, the likes of which we've never seen. Without folks like you, we risk being unable to fight back. <a
