</p>
<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;">The good news: We have an official Democratic nominee for governor of Virginia -- Terry McAuliffe! Terry is ready to retain control in Richmond and keep delivering for working families -- and we're confident that Virginians will send him back to the governor's mansion to do so.
</p>
<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;">But here's the bad news: He's running against self-funded, Trump-backed Glenn Youngkin. Not only has Youngkin propagated Trump's conspiracy theories about the 2020 election -- he's also committed to continuing to try to suppress votes if elected governor.
</p>
<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;">Republicans nationwide are keyed in on Virginia this year to test whether they can grab back power from Democrats in the midterms. We're counting on this team to send a strong message that Democrats are ready to defend our seats heading into 2022 -- and make sure that Republicans like Youngkin don't serve a single day in office.
</p>
<p style="font-size:18px;margin-bottom:8px;">It's going to take this grassroots team stepping up early on to back the DNC's efforts to hire organizers, run voter protection programs, and more. So, I have to ask:
